This is our double beat exercise, inspired by a Blue Devils exercise of the same name. Play as written, with all repeats. Make sure the feel stays in 12/8, rather than 4/4. The best way to do this is tap a quarter note or play with a met. You'd be surprised how tricky this can be if you're thinking of it in 4/4(: As always, circled notes indicate crossovers. The arrows in the Dvs split indicate to play on the drums to either side of you, i.e. the guy on either side of you's drums. This isn't the actual Devs split, it's just as much as I could figure out watching them in the lot.
